How to link a Go Daddy database in Dreamweaver:

  1. Go to Go Daddy "Hosting Control Center"
  2. In the "Actions" cell, click the little pencil
  3. Click "Configuration" in the toolbar
  4. Copy contents from the "ODBC 3.51:"
  5. Open your dreamweaver file
  6. "Applications" toolbar
  7. "+"
  8. "Custom Connection String"
  9. name the connection (no spaces)
  10. paste your "ODBC 3.51" in the "Connection String" field
  11. type a semicolon before "USER"
  12. replace 'your password' with your actual password
  13. "TEST"
